R4D International operates across Sub-saharan Africa, though our work is deeply rooted primarily in West and Central Africa, a region with unique opportunities and challenges in global health and development.

Countries of Engagement

R4D International have implemented impactful projects or provided technical assistance across various countries, including but not limited to: Cameroon, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Mali, Benin, Togo, DRC Congo, Burundi, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Sudan.

Research for Development (R4D) International was founded in 2012 by a group of health and community development professionals to bridge the gap between research and practical implementation.
